Today i spent more time using coloured pencils to create colour pallets to see what would look more effective. Just from my first page for the page i preferred the solitary hand as it show how a strong coloured light source would effect the form and tonal contrast.
I also decided to try a colour scheme for another of my concepts, this time being my main humanoid character as i felt it may look interesting to see how it changes the look of this piece, and how it impacts the observer. Overall i feel that it had a stronger impact with no colour or just minimal highlight, maybe to reflect the light source which i maybe within future media types that i will begin tomorrow.
Although with these i was able to attain a managery of different colour pallets i feel that the intensity of colour that i wish to attain wasn't so i want to try other media types to see if they can attain the effect that i desire.
From here i will try with water based markers, alcohol based markers before branching into more experimental media types.
