Today my focus was driven towards analyzing my second draft that i had printed as i'm aiming to further improve and refine my draft outcomes. i did this by adding notes to my draft near elements that i felt needed altering in one way or another, with my first look through i was focusing purely on composition of adverts and what elements would improve them. The additional pages that i had included helped to break up the advert placements and further inform the reader about the work.
Following these notes i began to work on the cover as i felt that there wasn't enough contrast on it from white areas to the more subdued grey tone, as it appear quite overpowering and dominated the composition. I also felt that the rendering of the clouds and detracted from the overall composition so i decided to use a vastly more blackened approach, which i feel will work better with all of the other elements in play for the next draft.
I feel that the transition through my editing draws your focus towards the figure out side of the window and adds more depth to the composition and allows for the title to appear vastly more vividly.
From here i will continue to carry out the alterations on my draft and aim to have it ready for the next draft to be printed in colour this time by Thursday morning as i want this to be brilliant but don't want to waste too much time on one element.
