Today was a very driven and focused day where i really felt motivated, and was able to just get my head down and work, as a result i managed to ink 2 full pages including the double page spread with the high level of detail that i expect from myself and aimed to get within my work.
I felt quite proud of the double page spread's result as it was a page that i felt could've been the most challenging to pull off in practicality, and also the scale of aspects was another aspect that has challenged me within this piece. I felt that i achieved this page with reasonable success with the proportion and scale, which lead to the composition having a potent effect on the observer, leading them around the page without drawing attention away from the focal points within the layout.
Following making these i decided to take a break from inking as i identified yesterday that i should redo my fourth page as it lacks the skill and refinement of the rest of my pages. However i felt that this was due to the fact that i had source material to build my compositions from, so i made the decision to create some warping experiments and photograph at various point to work with. I created these using a mix of emulsion, ink and acrylic as i've found in prior projects that these are the easiest media to warp fluidly on a flat surface with minimal working.I selected to use blue as it is a colour that has often been used for my pencils and so could further help me further identify and visualize it for my pencils. Overall using acrylic and emulsion worked best as it had less ability to run out of control and also mixed better leaving a more marbled effect as oppose to the bubbled and blurred effect of the emulsion and ink.

From here i shall create a new draft for page 4 with the knowledge and sources that i have and maybe spend some time on covers and titles so that i can at least have brainstormed them, to have the ideas going round in my head with new ones coming to the surface as i move forward.
