Today I continued with the inking process working on another two pages, these were almost as different form one another as they could've been and i feel that this helped to keep me motivated to get the work done and to the highest standard i can attain. A practice that i shall endeavor to continue moving forward, with the aim to keep my work at a higher standard.
I felt that the second page turned out better than the others as it kept me more enthralled in the mark making and creation process meaning that i was putting more energy into it that seems evident to see on reflection. I was particularly impressed by the way that the top panel turned out in the end with the thumb initially catching my attention with the fine crosshatching and tonal change.
From here i intend to continue with inking my pages but try to keep the energy that has been applied today visible within my work moving forward. Whilst beginning to think about that changes i will make for some of the second drafts of pages to make them more effective than the first.
