Today I spent more time inking, working my way through three pages two of which have been my most time consuming, those being the first and last. The first page was consuming due to the large amount of black that needed to be applied on the page along with getting it to fit around the tight contours of any forms.
This page was especially time consuming, since there were so many small areas with tonal variation and intricate details to portray in such a small space, meaning i progressed more slowly. Yet i found that this page was my most effective so far despite not being sure what i will do with the background space behind the focal points, I will have to test this out on photocopies before working onto the original.
From here i shall ink more pages in the following days ensuring that they aren't rushed and show the highest amount of skill and control that i can to ensure my best outcomes for the time i have to work on this.
